Messaging

Text message programme

Opranta sends text messages only to people who have asked for them. This page is the whole of it: what we send, how you say yes, how often, and how to stop.

Who sends the messages

Messages come from Bittanic, trading as Opranta at opranta.com.

Questions about this programme: hello@opranta.com.

What we send

Messages relate to you and your account with us, and to nothing else:

  • Replies to a demo or walkthrough request you submitted on this website
  • Onboarding and setup messages while your account is being configured
  • Account notices — trial expiry, a failed payment, a security alert
  • Replies from our support team to a conversation you started

We do not send marketing campaigns by text, we do not text on behalf of any other company, and we never buy or rent phone numbers to message.

Examples of what you would receive

Opranta: Hi {Name}, thanks for requesting a walkthrough. Is tomorrow at 2pm still good for you? Reply YES to confirm. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Opranta: Your workspace is ready and your first number is live. Your setup link is in the email we just sent. Reply STOP to opt out.

Opranta: Heads up — your trial ends in 3 days. Nothing is charged automatically. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

How you opt in

There is one way, and it requires you to act. We never add a number on our own, and giving us a phone number on a form is not by itself agreement to be texted.

On our contact and demo request forms there is a checkbox, blank until you tick it, reading:

I agree to receive text messages from Opranta about my request, my account and support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

The form submits whether or not you tick it, and not ticking it changes nothing about how we deal with your request — we will simply reply by email or call you instead. We record which submissions carried the tick, and when.

Either way, the first thing you receive is a message confirming what you have joined:

Opranta: You are subscribed to account and support text messages. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

Your number is not shared or sold

Mobile phone numbers and text message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and no mobile information is sold or rented to anyone. The only parties who see a number are the messaging providers who deliver the message for us, who may not use it for anything else.

The full statement is in the privacy policy, and the terms of the service are in the terms.

Messages our customers send are not this programme

Opranta is software that businesses use to talk to their own customers. When a clinic or an agency sends you a message through Opranta, that message is theirs: they collected your consent, they decide what it says, and replying STOP to it stops their messages, not ours.

Every business on the platform registers its own brand and campaign with the mobile carriers before it can send anything, using its own legal name and its own number. This page covers only what Opranta itself sends, from its own number, about your account with us.
